Sunday Sermon: “A Work Project You’ll Never Forget!”
There are work projects that bring us great pride and a sense of accomplishment. Workers will often proudly tell their children and friends that they were a part of a particular project. Can you imagine the pride held by the workers who built the Empire State Building? Who would blame them for bragging a little bit! The work that rebuilt the walls of Jerusalem following their national deportation was amazing. Despite threats of murder from hostile neighbors, material and financial deficits, labor shortages, and time restraints, the wall was rebuilt in 52 days. I’m sure that no worker who participated in that project ever forgot its accomplishment and glory! I invite you and your family to our worship service on this Labor Day Weekend! I will look to see you Sunday at 10:00 AM. -Pastor Carico

Sermon Title, August 24: “We Are Not Defined By What’s Around Us, But By Who’s Within Us”
The people of God were in a terrible situation. They were trapped with no route of escape. The armies of Egypt behind them and the Red Sea in front of them. But the command of God to the people was: “go forward”. One of the great lessons we can learn from this Bible story is that we are not defined by what’s around us but by who is within us. God is greater than any circumstance around us! God’s command is still the same: “go forward”! The world around us is filled with chaos and trouble, but the God within us will define our future. Just like the nation of Israel we will be victorious! I invite you and your family to join us Sunday at 10:00 AM as we explore the Word of God together. See you there! -Pastor Jeff Carico “The Lord said to Moses, “Why do you cry to me? Tell the people of Israel to go forward.” Exodus 14:15 Sunday Sermon: “The Sons of Korah”
One of the most interesting stories of the Bible is found in Numbers 16. It is a story of the rebellion of a group of powerful and influential leaders of the Jewish people against Moses. God decisively judges this group of rebellious people and honors Moses with his blessing. All 250 members of the rebellious group dies as a judgment of God. But the story does not end there. The Bible states that the “sons of Korah” did not die. Korah, one of the leaders of the rebellious group, had three sons who survived the judgment. The sons of Korah separated themselves from the rebellious activities of their father and did not receive the judgment passed on to the rest of their family. The descends of the “sons of Korah” go on to play an important and influential role in the history of the nation of Israel. I hope that you and your family will join us Sunday morning at 10:00 AM. I look forward to sharing this story of God’s Word with you. See you there! -Pastor Carico Sunday, August 10, 2025: “What’s Your Name”
If you were allowed to choose your name, what would it be? God was given that very opportunity. His answer was one of brilliance. The name he chose was: “I Am”! Our name is our most basic and valuable form of identification. It identifies our ancestry, residence, and history. Our name describes and identifies who we are. What does God’s name tell us about him? My Sunday sermon will explore the name of God. I believe you will find his name a true identification of his deity. I look forward to sharing this time with you and your family. See you Sunday at 10:00 AM! 🙂 God bless, Pastor Carico |
