Sermon Title, August 24: “We Are Not Defined By What’s Around Us, But By Who’s Within Us”
The people of God were in a terrible situation. They were trapped with no route of escape. The armies of Egypt behind them and the Red Sea in front of them. But the command of God to the people was: “go forward”. One of the great lessons we can learn from this Bible story is that we are not defined by what’s around us but by who is within us. God is greater than any circumstance around us! God’s command is still the same: “go forward”! The world around us is filled with chaos and trouble, but the God within us will define our future. Just like the nation of Israel we will be victorious! I invite you and your family to join us Sunday at 10:00 AM as we explore the Word of God together. See you there! -Pastor Jeff Carico “The Lord said to Moses, “Why do you cry to me? Tell the people of Israel to go forward.” Exodus 14:15
