Congregation,
This week my mind goes back to childhood days of Christmas. What were the sights, sounds, foods and events of Christmas? What do you remember? What sticks out in your mind? For me the “countdown to Christmas” would begin two weeks before Christmas, that’s when everything went into high gear. School would dismiss for Christmas break, we would put up and decorate our tree at home, special food would be made, dad would buy us kids fireworks, and I would participate in our church Christmas play (I thought it was a Broadway production!🙂) . Such memories! Well, the countdown is on! I hope you will join us this Sunday, December 15 for our 10 AM Morning Worship Christmas Celebration. My sermon is entitled “The A, B, C’s of Christmas”. We will gather back Sunday evening at 6:00 PM for our Annual Christmas Social. Guitarist Richard Kiser will be our guest providing special Christmas music. We will enjoy great food, entertainment, and an ugly sweater contest for those who wish to participate. It’s always a lot of fun! See you Sunday! -Pastor Carico
