Sunday Sermon: “The Sons of Korah”
One of the most interesting stories of the Bible is found in Numbers 16. It is a story of the rebellion of a group of powerful and influential leaders of the Jewish people against Moses. God decisively judges this group of rebellious people and honors Moses with his blessing. All 250 members of the rebellious group dies as a judgment of God. But the story does not end there. The Bible states that the “sons of Korah” did not die. Korah, one of the leaders of the rebellious group, had three sons who survived the judgment. The sons of Korah separated themselves from the rebellious activities of their father and did not receive the judgment passed on to the rest of their family. The descends of the “sons of Korah” go on to play an important and influential role in the history of the nation of Israel. I hope that you and your family will join us Sunday morning at 10:00 AM. I look forward to sharing this story of God’s Word with you. See you there! -Pastor Carico

Sunday, August 10, 2025: “What’s Your Name”
If you were allowed to choose your name, what would it be? God was given that very opportunity. His answer was one of brilliance. The name he chose was: “I Am”! Our name is our most basic and valuable form of identification. It identifies our ancestry, residence, and history. Our name describes and identifies who we are. What does God’s name tell us about him? My Sunday sermon will explore the name of God. I believe you will find his name a true identification of his deity. I look forward to sharing this time with you and your family. See you Sunday at 10:00 AM! 🙂 God bless, Pastor Carico Most of us have taken a screenshot from our computer or phone. We use it to capture an image that we want to keep. You can even use a screenshot to take a photo from a video or film, capturing the exact moment that you want to remember.
The Bible contains many “screenshot moments” that people tend to instantly recall. David and Goliath, Daniel in the den of lions, Jesus walking on the water. Moments that have become legendary and the image remains frozen in our mind. But these “screenshot moments” are really images from a long drama, not simply isolated moments with no larger context. My Sunday sermon will be entitled “God’s Screenshot Moments” and will explore the background of some of these legendary stories. I hope you and your family will join us this Sunday at 10:00 AM! -Pastor Jeff Carico Life can be hard. Sometimes very hard. We all can identify.
The Apostle Paul and his traveling associate Silas found themselves in a desperate situation. Having been arrested, beaten, placed in stocks and located in the inner most secure place of the jail building, it was approaching midnight. Dangerous and painful, the situation was dire. Their response to the situation may seem surprising. They began praying and singing songs of praise to God. The result is one of the Bible’s greatest stories of deliverance. As I stated in my opening sentence, life can be hard. We, too, will be faced with life’s dire situations. What can we learn from Paul and Silas’ example? That will be the theme of my Sunday sermon. I look forward to seeing you and your family at church this Sunday 🙂 -Pastor Carico Women’s Ministries

Charles Atkinson WZAP, 1:25 PM Daily Devotional The book of Zechariah records a dark time in the history of Israel. After many years of prophetic warnings God sends Zechariah with a message that he is prepared to break his covenant relationship with the nation. The consequences are to be severe and devastating for the nation.
I believe there are lessons that we can learn from this tragic example. I invite you and your family to join us Sunday at 10:00 AM. See you there. -Pastor Jeff Carico 40 Days For Life
