Yesterday during our Morning Worship Service a message in tongues was given, but no interpretation followed. After waiting an appropriate time, with no interpretation given, I moved on with the service. After the conclusion of the service, after the sanctuary had cleared, a gentlemen approached me. He was very emotional. He could hardly speak because of the tears and emotions. “Pastor, the Holy Spirit did not make any mistakes this morning. I had the interpretation for the message in tongues, but I failed to stand and give it. And this is what the Spirit gave me as the interpretation, ‘I love people. And I will heal this nation’”.
I assumed my friend that I would shared this message with our congregation. I remind us of the scripture that we pray so many times at First Assembly: “If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14 -Pastor Carico

Congregation,
In February of this year I felt led to begin a series of Saturday night worship services entitled “Pursuing The Heart Of God”. The impact was immediate. I could feel momentum, passion and enthusiasm. As we witnessed revival sweeping our nation, our goal was to pursue the heart of God and not be left out of the move of God in our nation. We want to be a part! Then, suddenly, the atmosphere seemed to change. The momentum died and it seemed we were traveling up hill all the time. I have spent several weeks of sleepless nights and uneasiness. I couldn’t quite figure out what was happening! Early this morning as I was praying I heard a clear message in my spirit: ”Don’t be surprised that the forces of evil fight back when you move forward for God. But, be at rest and peace, breakthrough is coming!”. So, this is the encouraging word I share with you. Be at rest and peace, breakthrough is coming! See you tomorrow at 10:00 AM. Breakthrough is coming! -Pastor Jeff Carico Honoring of High School and College Graduates
