During yesterday's sermon series "The Jehovah Names of God" the subject was Jehovah-Nissi, which is interpreted as "The Lord Our Banner" or "The Lord Our Refuge". The Lord proved to be to Moses a place of refuge and strength. This is his promise to us as well. His covenant name is Jehovah-Nissi.
In the time of testing and trial I encourage you to remain faithful to God and to keep your faith. Continue to serve the Lord. He is your refuge. Run to the banner of God, not away! God cannot deny his character. He will protect you, keep you, and bless you. It's who he is. He is Jehovah-Nissi. Amen! -Pastor Jeff Carico First Assembly of God Bristol, Va

Sunday I will continue my sermon series on the Jehovah names of God with a sermon entitled "Jehovah-Nissi, The Lord Our Banner", Exodus 17: 15. The Lord gave Moses this covenant name to remind us that God fights our battles for us. We can have faith and trust in the Lord, for the battle is the Lord's!
See you Sunday! -Pastor Carico "Experiencing a 1st Century move of the Holy Spirit in the 21st Century Church" Yesterday I continued the sermon series "The Jehovah Names of God" with an emphasis on "Jehovah-Jireh, The Lord Our Provider". This revelation of God's character was given to Abraham in Genesis 22. We also looked at the Biblical covenant of the tithe in Malachi 3: 6-12.
God's name reveals the character of a good father, one who takes care of his children. A father who will give you a fullness of life and material blessings that could never have been acquired other than through him. Amen! -Pastor Carico Sunday I will continue the sermon series entitled "The Jehovah Names of God". This Sunday we will focus on the name "Jehovah-Jireh, , The Lord Our Provider". See you Sunday! -Pastor Carico Experiencing a 1st Century move of the Holy Spirit in the 21st Century church! Yesterday I began the sermon series "The Jehovah Names of God" and center upon Jehovah-Rohi "The Lord Our Shepherd". David gave us a beautiful description on what kind of shepherd the Lord is in Psalm 23. God is a good shepherd, not a hireling. He cares about his sheep. He will take care of us. We can trust him!
