The title of my Sunday sermon for this Labor Day Weekend will be "Jesus Did The Work For Us".  Wow, even that title is exciting!  What a wonderful Savior we have!  Don't miss it!

      My Sunday sermon for August 26 will be entitled "God's Plan For Salvation".  If you ask someone the question, "Do you want to go to Heaven when you die?", the answer is always, "Yes, of course!".   The question then becomes, "What is our plan of action to have this occur?".  
       God has a plan for salvation.  This plan will assure our eternal life!   Sunday we will explore this plan.

       Yesterday's sermon looked at the "Songs of the Ascent", the 15 Psalms of Psalms 120-134.   These Psalms give great encouragement and comfort to the believer.  I encourage you and your family to read these Psalms this week for devotions.  They will offer you great comfort and will encourage your soul!

     Yesterday I finished the sermon "Signs of the Times".    The Bible teaches that the end of this age will be characterized by two simultaneous events:  a Great Deception of the Devil and a great harvest revival of the Holy Spirit.   
      I have determined to live and Pastor a church of harvest in these last days.  I don't plan to burn out, but to flame out!

      In yesterday's sermon I listed some of the "signs of the times" in which we live.  I reminded the congregation that a great deception will come to the world in the last days.  This worldwide deception will steer people away from the truths and authority of the Bible, God's Word.
        But the last days will also see a great Pentecostal harvest.  The 20th Century will go down in history as the century of the worldwide Pentecostal revival.   For those who hunger and thirst for Christ I believe the Pentecostal revival can and will continue into the 21st Century.
      I would rather be a part of the last day revival than the last day deception, and I intend to be!
