Merry Christmas, Jesus is Born!
-Pastor Jeff Carico First Assembly of God Bristol, VA. Our Christmas Eve Worship will be at 11:00 AM (only service for the day) and I will finish the sermon series "The Christ of Christmas". It has been a pleasure to share the Christmas Season with you! It is a great joy to share the birth of Jesus with such a wonderful church family!
Merry Christmas, I look forward to seeing you Sunday morning! -Pastor Jeff Carico First Assembly of God Bristol, VA Yesterday in the sermon series "The Christ of Christmas" we looked at the two key ingredients every Christian needs to walk in the will of God: obedience and faith. Mary was given the plan of God for her life by the angel Gabriel. Yet, no in-depth details were given to Mary, only the overall message of God's will for her life. The details of how the vision was to come to pass was discovered each day as she walked in obedience and faith!
The same is true for us. As we walk in obedience and faith nothing can stop the will of God from happening in our life. The process may seem chaotic at times, but be of good cheer, God can make it happen! -Pastor Jeff Carico First Assembly of God Bristol, VA Sunday, I will continue the sermon series "The Christ of Christmas" with the theme "Making It All Happen". The birth of Jesus Christ was miraculous. By human standards it was impossible. Yet, with God, nothing is impossible. God "made it happen"!
I believe this sermon will be a reminder that God can finish what he has started in your life. The promise of a virgin birth of the Messiah to a young maiden named Mary seemed absolutely impossible. Yet, God "made it happen"! God never changes. Walking by faith can seem chaotic. But be of good cheer, God can "make it happen" in your life! See you Sunday, Pastor Jeff Carico First Assembly of God Bristol, VA Yesterday I continued the sermon series "The Christ of Christmas" with the theme of "relationship". Through the Christ of Christmas we have a relationship with God. Christians are not people of religion, they are people of relationship! Relationship with God through Jesus Christ!
I encourage you today to take some time and thank God for your relationship with him! God bless, Pastor Jeff Carico First Assembly of God Bristol, VA Sunday I will continue the sermon series "The Christ of Christmas" as we continue our countdown to Christmas. I invite you to join us as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ throughout the Christmas Season.
See you Sunday! -Pastor Carico First Assembly of God Bristol, VA Yesterday, I began the sermon series "The Christ of Christmas" with the question "Who is the real Jesus?" The Bible tells us that Jesus was present at the very foundations of the heavens and earth. In fact, he is infinite, without beginning or ending.
As you celebrate the birth of Jesus this year, take a moment and think about who Jesus is. The Bible tells us that all things come from him and all things are designed for his pleasure. Wow! How great is God! -Pastor Jeff Carico First Assembly of God Bristol, VA |
