“When I think about the future I feel ________” will be the title of my Sunday morning sermon. What would you put in the blank?
The text upon which I will begin my sermon is Matthew 6:31-34: “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.” I think you will find our study of God’s Word a great challenge. See you Sunday at 10:00 AM. -Pastor Carico

Have you ever gotten some “inside information”, some privileged knowledge, something that puts you ahead of everyone else? My Sunday sermon will be entitled “Wisdom, The Winning Edge”. The Bible gives us some inside information. Sound interesting? I think it will be. 🙂
We will also be honoring fathers during the 10:00 AM Worship Service. I look forward to seeing you and your family Sunday morning. -Pastor Jeff Carico The Apostle Peter will be the subject of this Sunday’s sermon. Last Sunday my sermon was entitled “The Apostle John, The Man And His Message”, I want to do the same this Sunday with the Apostle Peter.
Who was this man and what did he say? This is going to be fun! I’ve learned a lot and I think you will too! See you Sunday at 10:00 AM. -Pastor Carico Here’s an interesting challenge: Put yourself in the place of the people who surrounded Jesus and were members of the first century church. Who were they? What was their life journey? What were their experiences? What was life like for them? What was life like to experience Jesus and the first century church? Can we who live in 2022 relate to their experiences? What can we learn from their recorded histories? Can we put ourself in their place?
Putting ourself in the place of a first century believer is not an easy task, but that is exactly what I hope to do Sunday morning. My Sunday sermon will be entitled, “The Apostle John. The Man and His Message”. We will study the book of 1 John and try to discover who he was and what he said. This has been an exciting and fun sermon to prepare for. Who was John and what did he want to tell us? I want to know, and I think you will enjoy it also! See you Sunday at 10:00 AM. -Pastor Jeff Carico |
