This weekend our nation will celebrate it’s national freedom. In honor of Independence Day we will dedicate a new flag and renew our commitment and appreciation for our freedom. The flag that we dedicate is certified to have flown over the Capitol building in Washington D.C.. Our Sunday Worship Service will include patriotic music and prayers for the nation.
We also will be giving honor and appreciation to Jesus for our spiritual freedom. Freedom always comes at a high price. A very high price. The price of our spiritual forgiveness and salvation was paid by Jesus as he died on Calvary’s cross. The Bible tells us that if we believe the Gospel story and confess Jesus as the way of salvation we shall be saved. Thank God for our spiritual freedom. The title of my Sunday sermon will be “What Happens When A Christian Dies?”. What will that moment be like? Have you ever thought about it? I’m sure we all have. Sunday we will study scriptures that give us a glimpse into that moment. See you Sunday at 10:00 AM. -Pastor Jeff Carico
