Sermon Reflection, April 9, 2018

      Yesterday I began the sermon series "Our Journey To Pentecost".   There were fifty days between the Jewish observances of Passover and Pentecost.   At Passover Jesus was crucified and resurrected and at Pentecost the Holy Spirit was given to the New Testament church.  This sermon series will take us on a journey of that 50 day period.
       The first resurrection appearance of Jesus was to Mary Magdalene.  This week I ask that you read and study these scriptures, Mark 16: 9, John 20: 11-18.   Sunday we will explore this first resurrection appearance of Jesus.
