Sermon Reflection, January 28, 2018

      Yesterday I began a sermon series entitled "God's Amazing Grace".  The definition of grace is "unmerited favor, getting the benefit of something you did not earn".  Jesus paid the debt of our sin and we get the benefit of salvation!
      I began the sermon series by asking the question "Why do we need grace"?   This question was answered by reading Genesis 3 and discovering that as Adam and Eve sinned all of mankind was placed in a state of sin that is unacceptable to God.  This sin has separated us from God and a plan of salvation was needed to reunite God and mankind.  Jesus was and is that plan of salvation!
