Sermon Reflection, October 23, 2017

       Yesterday we continued the sermon series "Worship" with an emphasis on Spiritual Gifts (1 Corinthians 12: 1-11).  Three categories of gifts are listed in this scripture:

1. Gifts of Utterance
2. Gifts of Power
3. Gifts of Revelation

       The purpose of Spiritual Gifts is to provide the Body of Christ with the most effective ministry and worship services possible.   My challenge is that each of us search the will of God for personal availability for spiritual gifts, and that First Assembly always be open and sensitive for the presence and usage of spiritual gifts.
