Sermon Reflection, September 24, 2018

     Yesterday's sermon looked at communication as an essential element of a relationship.   God wants to have a relationship with mankind, therefore it is essential that we communicate with God on a regular basis!
       God communicates with mankind through his word (the Bible), and we communicate with God through prayer.  At the end of the sermon I issued a challenge for our congregation.  Would you like to join with us in the journey?
1. Give God 15 minutes a day, at least 5 day of the week.
2. Read the Bible (an average of 4 chapters a day)
3. Pray out loud
4. Use the Lord's Prayer as a guide in how to pray (Matthew 6: 9-14)
       There are very few things I will give a guarantee for, but I do guarantee that if you do these things on a regular basis you will establish communication with God!  
      The journey will be exciting!
