Sunday Worship, June 4, 2017

     This Sunday I will conclude the sermon series "Many Convincing Proofs-Pentecost Sunday, June 4".  Following Jesus' ascension he spent 40 days giving his followers "many convincing proofs" of the reality of his resurrection.  At his ascension he commended his followers to return to Jerusalem for the promised Holy Spirit.  Ten days later, on the Day of Pentecost, this promise was fulfilled!  (Acts 2: 1-4).
      Each day we live with the reality of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit.  As Born Again believers we are the residence of the Holy Spirit, and all believers have the privilege of being filled with the Holy Spirit as was the experience on the Day of Pentecost!  We are truly blessed!
​      I look forward to seeing you this Sunday.  Come to church expecting a 1st Century move of the Holy Spirit in the 21st Century church!
